On Tuesday 22nd May, as Mr Tahana’s student teacher, I accompanied the A and B soccer teams to their soccer tournament in Kervil Park.

Each team played five 20 minute games.

As an assistant coach of the B Team, I’m proud to say that they placed 1st in the B Finals; and their senior team, the A Team coached by Mr T, placed 5th in the A Finals.

The day was enjoyed by all with great parent support, great attitudes and sportsmanship, and great team work.

Keep up the good work Peninsula Primary because sports teaches life skills like teamwork and leadership that you can use for the rest of your life!
