PPS held our annual cross country on 25th October.
It was such a great event and everyone involved did a fantastic job of running in their races.
Everyone was split into their year level groups, with a total of 6 races:
· Year 6 girls
· Year 6 boys
· Year 5 girls
· Year 5 boys
· Year 3 and 4 girls
· Year 3 and 4 boys
The fastest year 5 and 6 boys and girls will go off to the interschool cross country competition which will be held next week.
We look forward to hearing the results of how great our fast runners do!
Congratulations again to everyone who ran and did their best!
Well done! J
Written By Room 10 Children
All of the children were called over to the tree by Mr Robyns. They were jumping and skipping and clucking about like a flock of crazy multi-coloured chickens. Then it was the start.
Mr Robyns clapped and we were gone. We were like a herd of bulls.
Our feet stomped on the spiky green grass. When we turned the corner, heaps of children were walking BUT I tried not to stop so I wouldn’t come last. I was exhausted.
I felt as if I was going to collapse.
I felt as if I was in the middle of a fiery volcano.
My head felt as if it would explode like a giant champagne cork.
I was a WINNER !!
