2010 Middle School Swimming Sports

At the end of term 1, we had our swimming sports. We had lots of parents that came along and supported us. It was such a fun day! We each had our races and got to cheer on our friends in their races. It was so noisy!!

There were four different types of races, and they were split up to be boys and girls races. When we waited for our race, we sat at one end of the pool behind a cone. We did freestyle, backstroke and kicking on our backs.

It was a lot of fun cheering our friends on while they raced. We clapped and shouted out chants supporting our houses!

The very last race was the relay… This was the one we had been waiting for! There were 6 people in each team, all racing against each other to be the best.We waited patiently for the whistle and then the race was on!
