Trash To Fashion 2009

Huge talent was seen this year in our wonderful entries into the schools  'Trash 2 Fashion'  show.  Peninsula Primary School had 22 students representing us.This is by itself is outstanding.

Special thanks to Mrs Kellerman who once again supported our students and  organiszed our schools entry.

A great deal of hard work and effort has gone into designing and making these outfits.

In the Junkyard 'Super Heroes' section Alexander Lake-Smith was 1st  as Money Man. Four special merit certificates were also won. The winners of these were; James Ogilvie as "Punk Rocker", Hannah Pether as Laundry Woman', Mollie Harvey as "Peacock Princess" and Matthew Darrah as "Turtle Boy". Hannah's "Laundry Woman "outfit was also choosen to be displayed at the Henderson Library. This was a huge honour.

Congratulations to these students and all those who competed.

Also a huge thanks to all the parents for supporting their children through the marathon of rehearsals and preparations.
